Hello everyone!
I would like to invite all of you to take a survey on social networking and blogging. As a parent, blogger, graduate student, and family researcher at Penn State, and earlier at BYU, I am very interested in the ways that media and family life connect. It is clear that we use the internet on a daily basis, and blogging and social networking have exploded in recent years. This may affect us, our relationships with others, and our families in a variety of ways. Little is known about this though, and this is where this survey enters.
Your response would mean a great deal to me and each response helps us, as family researchers and family life educators, to better understand and assist parents, individuals, children, and families.

We would like to ask you to complete the survey and also pass the survey on to others whom you know qualify, such as your friends, family, classes, and other organizations.
To qualify to participate, one must be 18 to 40 years old and able to understand English proficiently.
Responses are completely anonymous.
COMPENSATION: Those individuals who complete the survey will be entered in a drawing to win one of four prizes (a Kindle Fire Tablet or one of three $20 Amazon gift cards).
REFER OTHERS: Your chances of winning a prize increase for every person that you refer who also completes the survey.
TIME COMMITMENT: The survey will take you approximately 20 to 45 minutes to complete, so please allow adequate time. As long as you leave the web browser window with your survey open you can always come back to the survey later to complete it.
