A sure footed assistant & Pinterest

I checked out some kids magazines from our library recently, and found something more interesting for myself than for them. It is from the Cobblestone April 2011 issue with lots of history on photography. I found it so fascinating that I am thinking of just keeping the mag and paying for it. This picture on the back just struck me:

LOOK at that huge camera!!! Mid 1800′s, it says. My jaw just dropped as I read about the very beginnings of photography, images taken on glass, etc.

I’ve found some other fun photography stuff on pinterest. I’ve seen lots of posts in blogland about Pinterest, and I am personally loving it myself. If you want to follow my pins, you can do so here.
