Hey there!  I’m Summer from Munchie’s Mama, Nailed It Decals and Elevate Blog Conference.  I’m also a Mama of 3 and have been married to my High School sweetheart for almost 8 years.

On my blog I share about my trials and triumphs in parenting, kid and wallet friendly fashion, quick and easy crafts and baking more sweets than my waistline can handle.  Some readers’ faves includethis Twist and Pin Hairstyle Video Tutorial, these General Conference Cinnamon Rolls, and if you have any leftover Christmas Candy Canes you can make these yummy Valentine’s Day Suckers.

Today I am going to share a couple of my favorite places in my home where we have our family photos displayed. We have lived in our home for five years and because we are renting I haven’t made it a priority to decorate the walls.  I am so grateful to Kristen for asking me to share our space with you all because it gave me the inspiration to complete some of our spaces and make this feel a little more like home.
First up is the project I have been working on for the past week.
Part of the thing that was so hard was figuring out a color scheme.  Our furniture is black, grey and light blue, but our carpet and walls are beige.  I was so stuck on how to make it all work together, until the Olympics started!  I was so inspired by our nations colors and was able to tie in the furniture and wall color using Americana style frames and art.

Next up is our bedroom.  I kept is simple, but I love these photos.  The left is our engagement photo and the right is obviously our wedding.

Last is the boys’ bedroom gallery wall.

Thanks so much for joining me as I shared a little of our space. If you’d like to see how I decorated Kennedy’s nursery with photos you can find that post HERE.

If you want to stop by the Munchie’s Mama blog today, I’ll be showing you how I refinished this vintage high chair with homemade Mint Chalk Paint!

Thanks again for having me and if you’d like to keep up with me, you can follow me at the links below.
