One of my most fantastic clients had their family in town for Thanksgiving, so I popped on over to take their Extended Family Portraits. If you remember the adorable 9 Little Indians I shared with you on Thanksgiving Day, some of the little faces will look familiar. I took all of the shots at the same time.

The original family (below).

The momma below is the one who crafted the amazing Indian feather head-dresses for the group.

If you remember, I recently photographed this sweet family in their home: playing games and making pancakes.

I love a little “behind the scenes” shot, so I included the next two, which helps one understand that getting all the kids to look in the direction of the camera is often a TEAM effort!

Just love this one…

The result was worth it!

Loved their clothes, the light was beautiful, lots of fun all around!

They must be so pleased with these great photos! I can’t believe you could get so many people looking good in one picture, like the first large group shot – good job!
Thanks, Carol! You know, with big groups like this, I’ll often have to do a head swap, but I didn’t have to with this one! I think I had an elmo dancing on my head for a minute or so!
What a beautiful family!
{Also, for some reason my blog won’t link up? I tried commenting on House of Rose and it worked there, not sure what’s up.}
It takes a lot of work to get everyone smiling and looking! A lot of times its the adults that have weird faces because they’re too worried about the kids smiling. Great job! Makes me sweat just thinking about how much work it takes for those money shots! haha
Wow – that’s a big group to photograph all at once! Amazing job!
This is superb Kristen! I love your collection in this article! Thanks for sharing this awesome post! Keep posting more interesting and lovely pictures!
