Here are two more great families from my petite sessions last weekend….I loved the black, gray, and purple in the first family with wonderful 5 fun kids! And when this momma told me that her family had nothing but sports jerseys, I said it was perfect, and to wear that! I’m so glad they did, their personalities really shined through! The End!

What a cute little family. I met them for the first time at our session, and come to find out, they live a hop, skip, & a jump away from me! These kids were adorable and the daughter was game to do anything with all smiles. The little guy was happy if he was close in proximity to his momma. This is my last petite portrait session of the year.
This petite session was super easy–3 happy and adorable boys made it that way. Did they want to run around and explore? Yes. But we had so much fun, and it was tough to narrow down my faves.
I first met the mama of this family when she came to my Say NO to Auto workshop in August. After the workshop, she excitedly emailed me some fun images she had taken of her kids that she took on manual. I’m so happy she shared with me! This is a pic of myself and my assistant, Roxanna. I got to photograph this family a few years ago on a chilly New Years Day, it’s delightful to see the kids all grown up. They were so cooperative and smiled easily. I was excited to photograph this next family because I hadn’t met them before. She said she found me online and looked at lots of local photographers before asking me to photograph her family. That was delightful to hear;) The children were adorably sweet, and though there was a chill in the air, happy smiles!
I started something new this year, my petitie portrait sessions. I recognize that not everyone wants a full session, so I’ve scheduled one day every other month that I will stack a bunch of petite’s in a row. These are 15-20 minute sessions, mainly for posed images. This was my biggest stacking yet, and it worked out wonderfully! We just got back from a 10 day drive from Austin to Salt Lake City, Utah. My 4 kids did AWESOME and it was actually quite fun! Don’t ask me to do it again for at least a year though. I’m so excited about these cute little cards:) I just ordered 4 sets this morning, so I will have images to share with you when they arrive early next week. I also got the cutest little drawstring heart organza bags to hold them.
