ARIZONA~Here I come!!!

6

{Image taken of me demonstrating a very important point at the Dallas workshop last Saturday,  by Jennifer @ Christian but Human} Ok, so we planned to fly to California in July (workshop + family trip), but after hammering out details, we decided to drive.  That means, I’m headed straight through the middle of Arizona!!!   I’m very excited because I have only ever been inside the Phoenix airport.  I’ve got lots of online friends in Arizona asking… Continue Reading

Dallas Workshop and a little surprise

1

Had another fun workshop last weekend in Dallas (Plano to be exact).  Met a handful of lovely ladies from the area, even a few traveled in from Louisiana!  I just wished there was more time to chat about life in general with each of them, but I think they all came out feeling much more confident using their cameras!  Here are some pics from the day: Below, I took a head shot of Aimee for… Continue Reading

WIWW & Workshop in Houston

2

I think I’m going to take a break from WIWW for a little bit.  It’s summer…it’s hot…and my clothes just aren’t that exciting on the weekdays.  I mean, I don’t even get to walk into the school and show the staff how “put together” I am while wrangling 4 kids.  Plus, I have such a backlog of pictures to share, and I need my Wednesdays back! For that reason, I am combining it with a… Continue Reading

Utah Workshop!

1

I originally went to Utah for a wedding, but thought I’d squeeze in a Say NO! to Auto workshop while I was there. I seriously love teaching these workshops. I get a bit of an adrenaline rush while teaching, that takes a while to come down from. It is SO fun to see those confused faces change to those of the aha moments. What I love to share about my method is its simplicity.  There… Continue Reading

Skype Mentoring

I don’t have an official post about the skype mentoring, so I am making one right now.  I have had so many people ask if I am traveling to their town for a workshop and though I’d love to travel around the country/world to do so, it just isn’t feasable with my family dynamics right now.  So, I schedule workshops where I plan to travel (our family reunion in California this summer, a friends wedding in… Continue Reading

So much to share….but first, the Workshop!

1

I held my third Say NO! to auto workshop on Saturday, second in Austin.  It was great! Last time,  I kicked my family out of the house for 3 hours, this time, it worked to lay my baby down for a nap and banish the family to an upstairs room to watch a movie.  It all went swimmingly until my baby woke up with what my husband called a nightmare and he couldn’t console her.  It… Continue Reading

San Antonio Workshop + More of The Wishing Elephant

1

Here is my fun group! Amy (white shirt in the middle) was kind enough to host as well as assemble the majority of this group. When she asked me if I’d come down to San Antonio, I said if she got a handful of friends togother then I would. It was kinda nice just showing up to put on the show!  I really hope these ladies were tellin’ the truth when they said they “got… Continue Reading

More from my beginner photography workshop~Say NO! to auto

{Feeling slightly awkward that I’m in most of these images, but I wanted you to get a feel for the scene of the workshop} I was so excited that my pen order came in the day before the workshop! I have been planning to do this for a while, and this was the perfect event to have lots of pens with my business name on them! When they came in, I ran to my son (slightly… Continue Reading

The workshop was so much fun!!!

I can’t even describe how happy I am!  What sums it up best is that a student today said they felt so empowered.  Likewise, it is empowering for me to aid in that empowerment.  I am just elated. What I hear a lot from people that have slr cameras and shoot on auto is that they do that because they are intimidated by the camera settings or they’ve tried and just leave feeling frustrated.  Today,… Continue Reading

Prepping for the workshop

Can I just say WOW on the first day of sales on my little e-book!   It is a full time job emailing it out and making sure it gets to everyone, as well as bookkeeping.  I am so excited to hear about your experiences with the info I’ve shared.  I really do believe it will help, but remember–be patient with yourself!  Here are some pics my son took of me today and my girls, organizing all the “stuff” at… Continue Reading
