Ok, if you’re like me, you’ve seen posts all over the inter-web on hair. Pinterest is exploding with them, and I should add that my sock bun curls post (over there on the sidebar) was one of my BIGGEST viewed posts of last year. It got “stumbled upon” and wow, all sorts of visitors checking that one out!
I have tough hair to handle. I am blessed with thick hair. I mean…SUPER thick hair. People will often see it, and it looks normal, but if they feel it, I’ll hear gasps and comments that it is like a horses main. I’m used to it, I’ve heard it all my life (that I can remember–after 12ish). If it is up in a bun all day, guaranteed I’ll have a headache at the end of the day. I can’t just plop it up with a clip, it has to be 5 clips or 100 bobby pins (maybe that is a slight exaggeration).
One day, I landed on the blog, My Yellow Sandbox, and saw her Ultimate Hairstyle Handbook e-book and had to have it.
I like to support friends with e-books, so I snatched this up quickly, and LOVE that she has a ton of step by step picture how-to’s. I was most excited to learn how to do a fishtail braid. It always looked so complicated, but it is SO easy!
