A great perk about being a photographer is having friends who are also photographers. I’ve met a bunch from an online forum I belong to for professional photographers. I contacted a local photographer friend a few weeks ago and asked her if she’d document…ME! I wanted to remember me just before I turned 30. Mariel Reyes is her name, and she has a fantastic studio set up in her home with about a million different props and many many backdrops. I was a kid in a candy store. I decided a few years back that my love is outdoor portraits with natural light, so it was fun to learn from her about light setup and such.
