I had a fun trip, but so happy to be home with my favorite people! There is nothing like stepping out of your normal life…into the lives of others to see how they do things…then come back refreshed and renewed to be better. Watching my neice and nephew come home from school and immediately put their backpacks on a hook in the laundry room left my jaw to the floor and a resolve to make a little change around here. I also found that they make their own lunches. Then hearing all the chapter books my sis in law has read to her kids reminded me that I want to get back into the swing of that with my kids. I want to own that time right after school…to unwind…have a snack…and enjoy a book together. I also bunked with my friend Emily, and had a dance party with her girls, shared my adulation for all things Justin Bieber with them, discussing the pros/cons to disciplining with positive vs. negative reinforcement with my friend, and lastly I got a personal therapy session with said friend who shares similar life goals. Our flight home yesterday included a cranky baby who hadn’t slept all day, but after 3 hours of a wrestle, she slept the last 30 minutes. Coming home and having my hubby and kids squeeze me and hugging me, I felt like a rockstar!
I was sending out the e-books while I was gone, and realized that in just one month, I’ve sold nearly 500! I am up-to-date according to my records, so please let me know if you don’t see it! I was sending them out by blind copy and in bulk, resulting in many going to junk boxes. I am going to try to not send a blind copy and see if that gets better results.
Ok, who wants to play a game and guess how many pictures I took on my trip? The winner gets a prize….either a copy of my e-book or email mentoring questions or whatever (within reason)! To help you count, I did 3 mini sessions inluding 2 families and 1 newborn and 2 full family sessions. No pictures in this post…will have plenty to share this week.

I just ordered the E-Book after seeing the post on I ♥ Naptime. I can’t wait to check it out. I just got an SLR and love it but know nothing about it and missed my class I was supposed to take last week due to the flu so this should help me.

I’d guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 1990.
I would guess around 1300 pictures.
Glad you had a great trip and I always love coming home.
1500!
I’m guessing 2472.
I am glad your back! Hope you had a great time! Humm lets say 1000…
Hmm I guess 1272. I just took a trip to Guatemala for 10 days and got back yesterday as well. I wish I had ordered your book before I left to look at on the plane and have as a quick reference. I did play with my camera settings a bit, though, and had some decent results. It was an amazing trip, but it is good to be home and back with my kids again, though.
Its amazing how fast you can take lots of pictures! So, I am guessing that you are amazed at how many you took that’s why you had us guess! So, like 5000+!
