Wow, what a weekend! Just plan on the next few posts including bluebonnets. For those of you that don’t live around here, Bluebonnets are the Texas state flower and they bloom each spring near the end of March/beginning of April. The past few years they haven’t been very good due to drought, but this year they have been spectacular! You gotta scope out spots, and I found a great field.
This couple was so adorable and very excited about their upcoming arrival. I’m so excited for them on the journey of parenthood.

i love the barn you used as a background. i think that the roughness of the wood just gives a certain texture to the picture that makes it unique and makes you start at the picture and say, "what is it about this picture?" and its the rough texture that the barn adds to a rather more comfortable feel to what is otherwise a very posed circumstance….or it could just be my fondness for barns (especially red rough ones) i'm the crazy person who sees barns on the side of the road and stops to take pictures….just in case you were wondering who that crazy person was!
Your pictures are beautiful. I love the blue bonnets. My brother and sil live in Round Rock I need to let them know. They are new to Texas from California.

I love the stylish poses you used for the mom in these. Not your typical 'oh she's having a baby' pose. I looove the way you can tell that these two are still totally and completely in love with one another. Great job!
