Do you have an SLR camera, but haven’t figured out which lenses to use for different situations?  There are so many options, it can certainly be overwhelming, and they aren’t cheap.  For the next week, you can enroll in my 2nd group of the Camera Academy for Moms, and learn from the video tutorials I taught on how to use the camera from basic to creative modes, as well as editing workflow tips!

Must have lenses for mom photographers

{Edited to add: I hosted the LIVE webinar all about lenses, but it’s not longer available to view. It was a jumping off point to introduce the Camera Academy for Moms, so to learn all about that course, click on the links below!}

As a mom, I want to beautifully preserve those precious moments in the life of my family, and I know many of you out there feel the same way. I’ll be sharing my photo tips in an easy-to-understand format, that will help you feel empowered to use your complicated camera.

When you purchased your SLR camera, you likely got it in a ‘deal’ with the 18-55mm kit lens. What isn’t explained is that the lens is a foggier glass, the aperture doesn’t go very low, and all kinds of confusion over what exactly all of those numbers mean. Yes, there is a manual, but who understands that foreign language?

The Camera Academy for Moms is a photography course I created with 30 video tutorials to teach you all about how to use your camera, geared towards beginners to intermediate. I just wrapped up my first class of 100 students, and I’m going for the 2nd enrollment. If you’d like a sneak peek of the course, you can check it out now here: Camera Academy for Moms. Grab your spot!!

Hope to see you there!
