I’m happy to share a review today of the Nestle Lean Cuisine frozen meals along with Skinny Cow ice cream treats. I was SO excited to see both an Asian Flavor 6 pack and Italian Favorites 4 pack Lean Cuisine meals at my local Sams Club. I shop at Sams Club once a week for my staple food items such as bread, milk, cheese, fruit, and I think I’ll be picking up these frozen meals from time to time.
Both the frozen meals and the Skinny Cow Vanilla and Cookies & Cream 20pk are on sale through the end of February at Sams Club ($1 or more off). They can’t be beat for a quick lunch on the run. I don’t generally purchase a lot of frozen meals, but these were quite tasty. This stir fry meal was under 300 calories, along with my favorite roasted asparagus, and with the skinny cow treat, it was all under 500 calories!
I made a delicious creative side of veggies to add to the veggies/rice/chicken in my dish. Have you ever roasted asparagus? It’s super easy. I line a baking sheet with tin foil (for easy clean up), cut and lay my asparagus on the sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and cook in the oven on 400 for 7 minutes. Super easy and delicious!
Above are a few of the meal options, I chose from, I ended up making the Ginger Garlic Stir Fry with chicken in the top right, made Sesame chicken for my husband. We were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were!
Above is my shopping cart at Sams Club with the sale items.
I had never had a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich before, and it was quite tasty.
Even my daughter agreed. All of my kids enjoyed the treat, they have no idea they are lots fewer in calories (150) than other ice cream treats!
I made a Google + album full of pictures in store, comparing other frozen meal foods and ice cream treats. Check it out!
