Are you ready for the recipe to the Raspberry Avocado Smoothie that is the new fave in our family? Just a few simple ingredients! Do you put avocado’s in your smoothie’s? If not, just TRUST me on this one…it makes them creamy, so delicious, and I promise, you are not drinking avocado, it’s a hidden flavor! Even my picky 7 year old eater knows that avocado’s are the best secret ingredients in smoothie’s.

My husband is generally the smoothie maker in our home, and the kids love to help him mix and match ingredients to experiment with flavor. When he first put avocado’s in them a few months ago, I was skeptical. I mean, I LOVE avocado’s, guacamole, you name it, but mixed with fruit in a drink form? I wasn’t so sure. I had to trust my husband before I drank, and I was pleasantly surprised!
First, I had to get the Avocado’s from Mexico brand. It’s one I know and trust for delicious-ness and quality.
I love to get my kids involved in the kitchen, and they love it, too! Â It can be messy, or take more time, but they are learning valuable skills.
I’m excited about my kids learning to prep meals, and my daughter is entering the Avocados from Mexico Minichefs contest, and you should have your kids do the same. It’s a fun parent/child activity to do together.
Here is the simple recipe:
Raspberry Avocado Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 avocado
- 5 ice cubes
- 3/4 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/2 cup water

Put all ingredients in the blender and mix until smooth.
