They are working on a new calendar to sell next year, and we did a shoot today for December. This one is a bit more moody, but I like it…. I darkened the tone to match their faces.
while this one, we got a couple of smiles…
Mom and grandma were on either side of the bed catching them as they tried to roll off. As always, it was hysterical and wonderful to be in the presence of these cute babies.
Which one do you like best? Moody or smiles?

I like the smiles. There’s something about santa hats that just kills the moody look for me.
I love the moody. They make it look like if Santa doesn’t visit they are going to plot overtaking this whole Christmas thing.
I like them both, but I love love love the darkening effect in the first picture.

They are both very cute but i like the smiles. It makes the mood for Christmas.

With the huge candy cane, they remind me a lot of Cindy Lou Who.
I’m going for the moody. The darker look has better texture and the babies are still mostly moody in the smiley one anyway…
I love them both, as well, but I do have to vote – moody, for sure. It’s just not as typical for a Christmas shot, and that’s why it’s so wonderful!

Whata tough one……..I have to say I LOVE both, but I’m taken to the “moody” one…..I do agree with another comment made, I like the darker santa hats…!!
I also love the simpleness of the photo, as I’m sure it wasn’t so simple..LOL, but I love just the hats, and canes and white…..you do fantastic work!
