Style files~what I wore to my conference

You did get a little sneak peek of my clothing on my post yesterday, but I actually didn’t even have any pics taken of me alone, so I did what any dedicated blogger would do…put all of the outfits back on and quickly snap a few pictures at home. I know, it’s crazy. But I can’t help myself. Since I enjoy a carefully crafted ensemble, I took painstaking efforts to feel my best, seeing my friends that live far far away for 3 days in a row. The day before I traveled, my girls offered their opinions, and I texted this image to my friend to help me decide:

Since I’ve slenderized myself, I’ve had an obsession with skinny jeans. It wasn’t until I picked these 3 outfits that I realized they were all “skinnied” outfits, and maybe I should throw a dress or a skirt in there.  My friend assured me that it was complete silly thinking, and gave 2 thumbs up to my plan. So this is what I wore to my blogging conference:

Here are the “better” shots taken once I got home.

mint jeans=Target peach top=Nordstrom necklace=Nordstrom nude wedges=JCPenney ($11 bucks!) I don’t generally shop at Nordstrom, but when I was in Alaska on my birthday, I thought I’d check it out and found a few fun things. I was excited to even fint mint polish at Target to match my jeans. I don’t generally mess with my polish…

I fell in love with this top when I found it recently at JCPenney (the pink trim is attached, not a sep. shirt), but it’s a tank which I prefer with a jacket, and was happy to find this jacket at Target. I have another, but it is pretty loose on me now. Jeans from Old Navy, shoes Target, earrings a bday gift from my friend=Target;) I intentionally planned on flats for my 2nd day, assuming the balls of my feet would be sore from wedges the day before. I was right.  All better for the 3rd day!

I knew my feet would hurt after a while with these wedges, so I packed my flip flops away to slip on later in the day.

white jeans=jcpenney green top=Target navy/green wedges=Target;  yellow bubble necklace=old Downeast (I think) watch= Target. I haven’t worn a watch in a very long time, but recently I got the hankering for a white one.

Those are awesome Target finds! The outfits look great and well pulled together. Maybe I should browse Target more often.

All are so cute but I think I like the first outfit (in pastels) the very best! I really love the green and yellow, too, though. I LOVE that yellow necklace!

I am in love with that white & black polka dot tank with the pink trim. Except I thought that it was short sleeves. I would totally buy it if it had short sleeves.

The mint & peach outfit is my favorite. It reminds me of sherbert.

    Love the photos!
