I skipped last week. I’m not committed to doing this every week, but its fun to hear feedback on an off the blog, and I know I love to see what others are wearing! In an effort to “keep it real” I will post this first outfit. I truly wore this all day this day, but I didn’t go out of my home (except to walk my kids to school and they are used to seeing jammies from me). Last week, I wore a slight step up from something like this and my friend asked why I didn’t post that outfit (she saw me in it). I just didn’t think anyone would want to see the totally lazy days, I know I don’t like to see them. Old navy shirt, jammy pants, and purple shoes.
This is the day I drove to Houston and back for my mom’s 60th birthday lunch. It was a fun surprise. Old Navy dress, Jessica Simpson wedges. Baby outfit from Target.
I wanted to get a shot of one of my most favorite casual simple dresses. I’ve had it for several years. I love colorful flip flops, and LOVE my t-let white shirt that I wear underneath. It is a half shirt to go under things so I don’t have bunchiness around my stomach. Much cooler, too. Check it out!
This tan skirt below is one of my favorites. It is a tad big, so very comfortable on my waist, and long enough that I don’t have to worry with a gust of wind. Payless shoes from a year ago–love them. Heart necklace, very old. End of the day, eye make up has rubbed off. My physical therapist a.k.a. hubby tells me that flip flops and these flats below will ruin my feet when I am older.
Below: My Sunday church outfit. I got a new skirt and I really do like it, but it was way more $$$ than I generally like to spend. It is a Matilda Jane skirt. Did you know they have a women’s clothing line as well? I went to a trunk show and came home with this skirt. My shirt and shoes I have had over 5 years. My shoes are Steve Madden and I wear them often. They have held up very nicely.
As my hubby was snapping these of me, my oldest jumped in the shot and I just ADORE these pics! I am so glad he kept clicking! My boy is so good to me. I hope he still does this in 5 years;)
Linking to the pleated poppy and other what I wore Wednesday gals.
