I recently shared my summer ensembles, and though it isn’t quite crisp fall weather here in Texas, today I’m sharing some fall outfits to go along with Glamour’s Street Glam campaign (and contest–see below) they are running to celebrate Fall Fashion week in early September. So you want to see my Fall Fashion???
In the Fall, I get SOOOO excited to strap on my tall boots, wear layers like cardigans, scarves, and jackets, and just change up the color scheme from the fright fun of summer.
My first “look” I’m sharing is casual/dressy.
Vest, black & white, stripes outfit:
I love a good maxi skirt, and the black and white stripes takes me to cooler weather. I also got this denim vest recently from a Stitch Fix box, and fell in LOVE! My 9 year old daughter did, too, so I had to keep it. I took a trip downtown and to a candy shop with my kids, and modeled while my oldest son snapped away for me, just for this post. Blue purse from Target 2 years ago (i love it!!)
My son had fun snapping away
And then outside I slid my shades on.
Tan and Cream Riding Outfit:
I love tall boots, and have several pair. I got this pair a few years ago at DSW, and though the sticker price originally hurt me, they’ve lasted so well, I do not regret it. The sweater and cream corduroy pants are last year from the Gap Outlet, and I can’t remember where I got the scarf and bracelet! My daughter loved seeing my hair up in a ponytail (which was so cute of her), and I think a ponytail/scarf is a great combo for chillier Fall weather because without the scarf, my neck would get cold!
Here is a standing shot without the skirt and a simple horseshoe necklace
Coral, gold, and denim:
I love how the color moods change a touch with fall. This coral shirt (sent from Stitch Fix) could be summer, but I see it dipping into fall with the colors of the leaves. Oh, how I love to see those fall colors, and long for another trip to VERMONT!! I’ve also got my favorite gold purse from Downeast Basics last fall. I wear it with everything!
Cardigan, graphic T, and boots:
Once again, I’ve got my boots, with a fun graphic tee, and a cardigan. In Texas, it’s chilly in the morning, and warmer in the afternoon, so a bunch of cardigan’s are a must-have! This adorable shirt is from My Sister’s Tee’s, a company my friend Aly started with her sister!
One Piece Pants:
Ok, so this last look is the most daring of all for me. I’m pretty sure it still says “fall” I think anything black says chillier weather, to me. I got this at Forever 21 recently, and though it’s kinda different, some may say ODD, I fell in love with it! I wasn’t sure it would work for me, but I kinda don’t care. I don’t even know what to call it–a pants suit? One piece something? I took my kids to a fun Graffiti Park in Austin, and they snapped a few pics on my phone for me. I’m also really loving wearing headbands like this, just different, and youthful. And a drawstring waist, how odd is that? I embrace it.
ok, maybe I blended in too much to the background, how about A little jump shot, the drawstring waist really isn’t looking so hot here…
Do you have a favorite fall outfit I’ve shared here? What would you call this last outfit?
