I’m just going to admit right now, that Easter is my least favorite holiday to decorate for. It’s not that I don’t love the meaning behind the holiday…but I don’t really care for bunnies. I know, call me heartless. I also don’t care as much for pastels, so for my Easter mantel, I decided to go for more bold colors, and I found some fun stuff at World Market!

I had just a few Easter decor items at home, and I took a little shopping trip to World Market and was thrilled at the huge section of Springy items they had on hand. Though there were some cute bunny items, I mostly skipped over them. My mom was in town and I took her and my youngest, and they were both “oohing and ahhing” amidst the pastels and bunnies, while I walked around looking for other gems. My mom spotted the Easter themed nutcrackers, and I had to reminder her she was moving to Ghana and wouldn’t have space for most things. I assured her I’d do the spending for her.
I’ll admit, it was a pretty cute nutcracker, but not in my vision for my Easter Mantel.

I roamed around and found some fun baskets and flowers and candies (oh my!)

But when my eyes landed on the mint trash can below, I stopped in my tracks…

Why is it that I get so excited about a mint trash can??? I have no idea, but I knew I wanted to incorporate it into my spring mantel, and it was at this point that I had to roam around and find the cutest bunny possible–I had an idea.

Too bad I couldn’t fit this beautiful Green Tufted Devon Slipper Chair into my spring mantel. My daughter and I both loved it. I simply love all the furniture around World Market. Can I pause for a second and say what a great job World Market does with their decor and displays around the store? Though it probably wasn’t the safest plan for my daughter to climb up on, I had to snap a quick pic. I LOVED that a lot of their Easter egg items were in BOLD COLORS and not pastels. Loved the mama bird by her nest of eggs (my friends at Eighteen25 also seemed to love this–and bunnies).

I ended up getting mama bird with chicks and their mouths open wide. Reminded me of bird watching out my bedroom window 3 years ago (check out the cool pics I took).
World Market has a BUNCH of cute Easter themed candies, I honed in on these gummy carrots. I don’t even like gummy candy, but I couldn’t pass on the carrots.
Close up shots of my Springy Easter Mantel in case you forgot:

Only a few of my Easter items DID NOT come from World Market (giant yellow egg, carrots, green grass, mini baskets hanging). I also wrapped my pier canvas in purple wrapping paper to change up the color. Everything else I bought at World Market, and here are a few links to look closer:

I love your mantel. As a rule, in England, we don’t really go that mad for decorating at Easter. I’m kind of thinking I want to start though, looks fun.
