I thought I’d give a little Christmas Home Tour, since my house has exploded with red, green, and holiday things! I already share my Christmas Mantel a few days ago, now here is the rest. I LOVE my tall tree. I’ve had it about 2 years, and it just makes me happy. Having a big entry like this allows for it, and just looks great. It’s a pre lit tree, unfortunately one section of lights went out this year, so I wrapped a strand of white lights in that section. The ornaments are red, green, gold, and silver.
Sadly, the day my home was ultra clean to take all these pictures, the weather was not cooperating and it was very dark outside. I was pushing my camera to the limits, but some are a bit grainy. It’s moody, right?
I spray painted the ladder gold, the crate green, and made that JOYFUL sign a few years ago. I have the same phrase, “tis the season to be Joyful” in a printable, CLICK HERE to get it!
Here is my front door on a good day. You can learn more about the snowman wreath here:
I got the idea to do this embroidery hoop Christmas tree from a Better Homes and Garden pin. They pulled apart an ugly sweater, but I used fabric I had. LOVE this, it was SO simple to put together! I just hung them each on some thumb tacks!
I’ve got so many Christmas knick knacks that I’ve collected over the years, they hop to different spots each year.
In front of our barn door tv cover, I’ve got this gorgeous print from Kiki Creates of the Isaiah scripture about the Savior. The ornament swag above is from some crafty store, and the camper below, I THINK is from Hobby Lobby. That’s after it was glued back together (soccer ball in the house snafu) so I have to see if I can get another in case the glue doesn’t stick.
I like to Decorate with Pictures all year long, so I couldn’t leave out old Christmas pictures, now can I? We took these even before my 4th was born! I just put a plate rack up on the wall, and the 8×10 prints are mounted.
I used another plate rack to hold up these mini clipboards (that are actually a chalkboard surface) with some free prints online. The reindeer print in the middle, you can find on my site HERE (along with 3 other designs) and the other two are from Love from the Oven, found HERE. (Sad phone picture below!)
Then I’ve got my glitter reindeer with a picture of my kids at a Christmas shoot a few years ago.
Here are a few of my Christmas pillows
This is my family room before a party, so delete the party chairs set up from your mind
Now if that isn’t enough fun kiddie stuff, look at these fun details!
This all might be a little MUCH for some people, but it makes me happy!
Oh, and lest I forget my mantel, my husband made the sled after THIS tutorial. For more details on my mantel, CLICK HERE.
Here is a close up on the sled with the gumball machine, with Christmas M&M’s inside
