Hi friends! I’m Jessica from Decor Adventures, where I blog about all the fun I have decorating our 114 year old house. Yes, it’s a oldie, but we love it. There’s lot of furniture makeovers, design inspiration and renovations happening at our place. In between work and grad school, you can find me painting something or other just about any day of the week.
Today I’m excited to show you a final project I did in our dining room makeover with pictures from trips we’ve taken around the world. We’ve slowly been making over our dining room. It got grasscloth wallpaper, new paint, custom curtains and a few furniture makeovers. It was time I got something up on the walls.
Since my husband and I have been to eight different international cities combined, we knew pictures of our travels would look both artistic and lively for our modern dining space. Hanging photos is a great way to remember the fun we had, and add a personal touch.
You know all those pictures from the tips you’ve taken to exotic destinations? I’m about to show you how to get them up in a pretty gallery wall. You can quickly turn your digital files into a beautiful display in your home, with a little something special thrown in, bookplates so visitors can see where you’ve been.
You can see the entire adventure of selecting and printing, matting and planning the layout and the finished product on my blog here.
Thanks to Kristen for having me at your place today!
Love your travel pictures, Jessica! What a classy display in your dining room.
