Hello, Capturing Joy readers! I’m so excited to be a contributor on Kristen’s site. Are you all excited for Halloween? We’re big fans of dressing up at our house (and it also happens to be my birthday!). Today, I’m sharing an 8×10 hand-lettered Halloween printable with you, in two color options. I use and highly recommend Linen Coverstock for printing. You can pick it up at any office supply store (or on Amazon) and the slight texture lends a really professional quality to at-home prints!
The printables are 8×10 PDFs and you can download one (or both!) below:
Hand-lettering is one of my favorite things to do, especially since I can work “with” my kids. They color while I draw! Here’s a sneak peek at what a print looks like in progress, before it’s been cleaned up with my Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop programs. Being a lefty means I always smear at least one spot when I trace the pencil with marker so thank goodness for the magic of technology.
Can you see the texture of the linen paper on the white print in the close-up below? It’s such pretty paper in person!
I hope you enjoy these printables and I look forward to sharing another hand-lettered print with you all next month!
