I love everything minty, and during the holidays, this Peppermint Trifle just hits the spot, and is a great crowd pleaser, that is EASY to make. What better combo could you ask for?

Peppermint Dessert

With just 3 ingredients, this peppermint trifle is a no brainer to pull together for any holiday parties you may be attending. I partnered with Entenmann’s® Little Bites® to share with you their seasonal Butter Cookie muffins, which are the perfect flavor for the peppermint dessert. I love the ease of grabbing a package of Little Bites® on the go, but it’s also a great versatile snack to make any cake recipe super quick and easy.

Throwing parties is my jam, and I love to bring a festive dessert when I go. Sometimes when I throw a party, I strongly urge others that come to bring a holiday treat. Not everyone adheres to that request, but I think just a sprinkling of peppermint makes any dessert colorful for the holidays. I shared this peppermint trifle at a book club ornament exchange I hosted recently and got some rave reviews…Yummy, and they loved how SIMPLE it was to put together!

I love that my kids can help make this dessert, my youngest and her friend were excited to be a part of the development.

Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Butter Cookie Muffins are back as a seasonal favorite and just as buttery delicious as ever. They are perfect for festive get-togethers and scrumptious snacking anytime. With only 190 calories per pouch, Little Bites® Butter Cookie Muffins never contain high fructose corn syrup or trans-fat.

Simple ingredients for the peppermint trifle:

    • 2 boxes Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Butter Cookie muffins
    • 1 package peppermint chocolate pieces
    • 1 large container whipped topping

Just layer from the bottom of a trifle (round) dish, starting with the Butter Cookie muffins. It doesn’t have to be completely filled in, spaces are just great. Then spread whipped topping over it, then sprinkle peppermint, then repeat! I think I had 3 of each layer, 9 layers total.

The kids were pretty excited about it, but I had to take it to a party.
