The name Haystacks comes from the base of rice, but the pineapple and coconut slivers make it Hawaiian and the soy sauce/chow mein noodles are Asian inspired.

Ingredients
White sauce:
3-4Chicken breastscooked and shredded
1/4cupbutter
3/4cupflour
1/2tsp.salt
3cupmilk
1can cream of chicken soupor substitute homemade version
1tsponion powder
Toppings:
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
1cupcoconut slivers
1cupalmond slivers
1cupcelery chopped
1cupchow mein noodles
1cuppineapple chunksfresh or from can
1/2cupsoy sauce
Served over:
1cupcooked rice
Instructions
Start rice. Make white sauce with butter, flour, salt, and milk.
Add soup, onion powder, and cooked chicken.
Chop celery
shred cheese
Serve rice, then sauce, then toppings as you please.
