And I live about 1/2 mile from this zoo! If only we had known each other when you were here. I run past it and drive past it about 10 times every single day !

Beautiful pix! Reminds me of a story my mom shared with my recently. My parent’s were raising 3 children on one teacher’s salary. Christmas was always difficult. My brother always loved all things animals. So my mom went to the zoo and took tons of pictures of the animals with her camera. She mounted all the photos in an album with descriptions of each animal. She told me she worked on it for hours every night after we went to bed. On Christmas morning, she gave him the album and he said it was the best gift he ever received. There are some great pictures of him sleeping with his album.
Oh I love the San Diego Zoo! We went there for our honeymoon and loved it. The polar bears were my very favorite, but I love all the animals at the zoo! Love the photos!

Absolutely love the giraffes. It was my favorite animal growing up. Always the first thing I wanted to see at the National Zoo when we went.
