Hey! I’m Aly from Entirely Eventful Day.
First of all, Kristen is one of my most favorite people on the planet and so I was beside myself when she asked me to contribute to this fun series! What? Yes!
I read somewhere once that kids feel loved when they are surrounded by images of themselves and their loved ones. {pssst, read my post, Five Ways to Make your Kids Feel Loved.} I’m super into that idea. I mean, who doesn’t want to feel loved? That’s why I started hanging photographs of my super-adorable family all over the place. Um, not really. I am kinda super anal about what goes on my walls. Solution: a kid-friendly gallery wall in the basement living room/playroom. Can I get an amen?
I had all the photographs mounted on art board (some I mounted myself) so I didn’t need frames. This is the room in the house that they are allowed to play basketball, or whatever, in. So, I had to make this arrangement as indestructible as possible. No frames = no broken glass.
