I love all of the peppermint items coming out this holiday season. New to me was the Kraft Peppermint Marshmallows AND the White Chocolate Peppermint M&M’s. I had already planned to make some Krispie treats with the marshmallows, but when I saw both my friends Leigh Anne from Your Homebased Mom and Kristyn from Lil’ Luna share instagram pics of the white chocolate peppermint M&M’s they found, I knew I had to throw them in the mix (remember my recent obsession of white chocolate)! Thus was born the Peppermint White Chocolate M&M Krispie Treats!
I was just playing around with my dishes and the ingredients…
I really enjoy a good Krispie treat, but I never seem to get the right ratio to make them firm–any tips?
I followed the recipe on the Rice Krispie’s website (I microwave my butter/marshmallows), added my M&M’s, then drizzled Wilton’s red chocolate on top b/c they looked too pink.
Have a little peppermint fun this holiday season (the M&M’s make a great treat in the purse, too)!

You are killing my waistline here… between these and the pretzels/ chex mix you posted on instagram. You must have incredible willpower!!! Are these as yummy as they sound? (and, my rc treats are always too gooey, I don’t know how to make them so that when you cut them they stay nice and square.)
Yeah, I’ve been a snack junkie lately! I do tend to bake and give away, too.

Thanks, Ashley! I got the buggy at World market–love it! I are really just starting to learn to set up food pictures better–it’s a challenge for me! I’ve purchased a few food styling books for tips (pixel to palate is one) and trying to go from there;)
