Have you ever tried overnight oatmeal? It’s a new endeavor for me, and it blew my mind!  I’ve always enjoyed oatmeal, but I’m very particular about texture.  Here is a simple & quick recipe that I’ve been making lately that I wanted to share.

3 ingredient overnight oats

The way my husband makes oatmeal is to put in some milk, microwave it for a minute or so, and it’s kinda soupy. That’s not how I like to eat it. I do like the crockpot version, too, but my kids don’t care for it (they are used to my husbands way) so it just seems like a lot of effort to crockpot oatmeal for just one serving.

I had never had the oatmeal cold before, and wondered if I liked it, but I LOVED it! It’s rarely cold in Texas anyway, where I’d want warm oatmeal.

  1. That sounds really good!! very yummy!!

  2. That sounds delicious! I’ve been looking for easy on-the-go breakfast options. Is it safe to assume that this will be alright with just cow’s milk?
    Thanks!!
