Now, back to my bunny cakes.
My little helper was happy to sample the strawberry batter.
I found the bunny silicone mold at Wal Mart, this one is similar on Amazon. I simply made a cake from a cake mix, put the batter in the molds, cooked ’em, then sliced off the top part that bubbled over.
Then I melted some colorful Wilton chocolates and drizzled it on. I thinned it out with vegetable oil, but I could have probably been more careful…but I’m impatient.
Once the chocolate is spread, sprinkle some sprinkles on top! I put them in the freezer to harden before I removed them from the tray. I REALLY liked the consistency of the cake inside with the chocolate on the outside–YUMMY! Make ’em with your kids, they’ll think it’s so fun!
