This side salad recipe is an easy side dish that can go with any dinner idea. I love bringing this salad to parties in the summer to share.
Hi my name is Jes and I blog over at Mommy Envy. I have a lot of interests and I love developing them into talents. I write about family, home and life – with blogging tips thrown in. I am a stay at home mom and I also get to be a virtual assistant to bloggers and small businesses.
Today I am sharing an easy side dish recipe. ABC salad is a light summer salad that everyone will love. I really do not like broccoli or cauliflower, the main ingredients in the salad! But I love the combination and sweetness in this recipe.
This salad takes 10-15 minutes to make and after the first time you make it you won’t need to measure because you will start to make it the way you like it! As long as you remember A-Apples, B-Broccoli, and C-Cauliflower you will remember everything you need to get at the store (oh, and the dressing).
Ingredients:
- 2-3 Apples, cubed (your favorite)
- 2 cups Broccoli, chopped
- 2 cups Cauliflower, chopped
- 1 cup poppyseed dressing (I really love Kraft)
Directions:
First chop the apples, broccoli, and cauliflower. They don’t need to be super small but you do want bite sized pieces. Mix together and add the dressing. And done!
I am making this salad for a bridal shower I am hosting this summer! When throwing parties I like to keep the food simple so I don’t get stressed out. I’m paring this salad with chicken salad sandwiches but it foes great with anything you want to serve. Add this to your backyard grilling foods and it will be a hit!
