Easy cake bites are a party in your mouth, you’ll love them.  All you need is a box of Entenmann’s® Little Bites® Chocolate Party Cakes plus frosting, chocolate chips, and sprinkles!  Great for a fun after school snack, a play date, or party.
Easy cake bites are my new favorite treats! Years ago, when the idea of cake bites/balls came out, I was enamored! I fell in love, it was SO fun to me to discover this new treat and my kids loved them, too. I made them a lot! But, it was a bit of a pain and time consuming to bake the cake, then crumble it up. If you’re not familiar with the process, check out my step-by-step below, but I’ve got a MUCH EASIER way to make them now with these easy cake bites! And, I don’t have to make a million with one cake, I can make a small batch with my new method.
I’ve partnered with Entenmann’s® Little Bites® to share about their latest seasonal flavor: Chocolate Party Cakes. They are already made, pre-packaged, portioned out muffins that are a perfect snack size.
What I did for this recipe was use TWO packages (4 muffins per package) to mix up with some frosting to make my cake bites.

It was fun to teach my daughter how to make the cake bites, and she had fun snacking along the way!
I’m kind-of in love with this simple recipe for easy cake bites, and kicking myself that I didn’t realize I could make them like this earlier by using Entenmann’s® Little Bites®.
In addition to the visual step by step above, here is the recipe for the easy cake bites…
- 8 Little Bites muffins 2 pkgs
- 1/2 cup vanilla or chocolate frosting
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 T sprinkles

Mix Little Bites cakes with hand mixer till crumbly

Mix in frosting

Form cake bites into balls

Mine made 10

Place on a parchment paper lined pan

FREEZE 10 minutes

Melt chocolate chips (sometimes I add in 1 t coconut oil for smoothness)

Dip frozen cake bites into chocolate after inserting toothpick for ease

Remove toothpick and sprinkle with sprinkles
Grab the ingredients and make some easy cake bites ASAP!
