First, mix up a patch of the pumpkin cream cheese filling using the recipe below. All you need is some pumpkin puree, cream cheese, and some ingredients you likely always have on hand. Once that is done, you lay out the pie crust and cut it into squares. Place a dollop of the pumpkin mixture on one square and then top it with another square of pie crust. Pinch the edges together with a fork and poke a few holes in the top for venting. Then, voila! They are ready to bake! So easy and delicious!

Pumpkin Hand Pies Recipe

Pumpkin hand pies are a fun fall treat everyone will love.
- 2 pre made pie crusts
- 1 pkg. 8 oz room temperature cream cheese
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 cup canned or homemade pumpkin puree
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 T. milk
- 1 tsp. cinnamon

Cut out pie crusts into square size of your choice

mix softened cream cheese with pumpkin

then add egg, sugars, cream, and spices

Spoon 1-2 T. mixture onto squares

Top with another square (make a sandwich)

Press edges together

Poke holes in top

Bake at 350 for 5-7 min. watching to make sure it doesn't burn

Once cooled, mix glaze til runny and drizzle over pop tarts
