My Honey Curry Chicken recipe is a family favorite that I often forget about. The mixture of honey in the curry chicken is so sweet and delicious and a huge crowd favorite!
I got the recipe for this honey curry chicken a good 15 years ago from my high school BFF, Natalie. And she got it from her mother in law (K.K). It’s written down on a small ratty paper, that when I thought of making this recently, I had to search for it. It’s so stinkin’ easy, I don’t know why I don’t make this more often! I also made it for my friend Kelsey 10 years ago, now she associates this recipe with me. She requests I make it every time I see her. I love anything with curry, and the yellow curry is fairly light, not too overwhelming.
There are only a few ingredients to make the honey curry sauce, and you likely have most of them already. You just need honey, curry powder, mustard, butter, and salt. Not counting the chicken, we’ve got a five ingredient meal right here!
I doubled the below recipe to make this for a group, this is what it looks like just out of the oven:

Kristen, this looks yummy. What kind of wet mustard to you use? Yellow, Dijon, spicy brown…there are so many options! Thanks!
I use yellow, but I’m sure it would be just as great and with a different twist with another flavor;)

I made this for dinner tonight and we really enjoyed it! My chicken was overcooked at 35 minutes, so next time I’ll start checking it sooner, but it’s definitely one that I will make again. Thanks so much!
I lowered the butter & yellow mustard amount. But added a squirt of honey mustard & also tripled the curry amount for a different twist. Very good & served over rice & pad tai with egg drop soup on the side
This chicken was really delicious – how could it not be? The recipe card says it all. Obviously a family favorite!
