I LOVE newborn babies! I don’t typically photograph them, am in a semi-retirement, but when I do, I love to “capture the scene” of a family from a distance. I have a friend that lives in California, but her brother lives in Austin near me, and when she asked if I’d photograph her brother and his family, I couldn’t refuse.

Lilly was simply the sweetest–one of the calmest babies I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. At just under 2 weeks old, this is the perfect time for a newborn session.
Look at that sweet grin and beautiful eyes!

She tested out her crib for the first time, she looked so small! I love that artwork “L” and the elephant mobile above her.
Love this family shot, their room at such gorgeous light pouring through.
Adorable baby feet…
She was awake for most of our session, but she drifted off to sleep off and on, and we could tell she was having a nice rest, by her grin.
