We’re going to walk down memory lane for a minute with this post. I’ve partnered with Little Debbie® to share…

When I was younger, I was a “hot lunch” girl. I’m pretty sure my mom didn’t like the stress of packing our lunches each morning, and keeping up with making sure we had all of the items for said packed lunch. It’s a job, for sure! I remember one time in middle school, scrounging around in our pantry for something…anything…that I could package up to bring for my lunch, so I wouldn’t have to wait through the buying line again, hang out with my friends longer.

Most of my friends brought lunches from home, with delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and the coveted baked goods from Little Debbie®, too. I was insanely jealous, as I loved pretty much every Little Debbie® product from the Little Debbie® Swiss Rolls to the Star Crunch, and Oatmeal Crème Pies, but most of all, the beloved Little Debbie® Nutty Bar. Ah yes, I do believe those were, and still are my favorite. So I thought it’d be fun to share a super easy summer recipe, that the kids can help make, too!

Introducing…the Little Debbie® Nutty Bar Ice Cream Cake.

Nutty Bar Ice Cream Cake

Making this recipe is so easy. Just grab a giant box of the tasty Little Debbie®Nutty Bars, and layer them in between thawed vanilla ice cream, and sprinkle some mini chocolate chips in there, too. Kinda like an ice cream lasagna.

Step 1:

Place parchment in square pan

Step 2:

Line bars up next to each other, filling the pan (approximately 14 on square pan)

Step 3:

Drop dollops of softened vanilla on bars, spread

I loved them as a child, I love them as an adult, it’s just the taste you never outgrow.
