I’ve been on a picture booth kick lately, and I’m excited to share this super simple polka dot backdrop that I used as a polka dot photo booth background!! My girls had so much fun helping me make it and taking photos with the polkas dot backdrop! Check out all of their fun pics below…
My girls had so much fun posing, and also helping to create the wall of fun. They helped from beginning to end.
- First, you can use any color of paper you like. You can match it to party decor, home decor, or just your kids favorite colors.
- Second, I just used the circle hole punches that I had on hand. Really, they can be any shape. I had a large and a small punch in circles.
- Third, we taped them to the wall with painters tape so it would easily come off when we were done. My daughter had fun arranging all of the colors and dots.
- Fourth, grab a backless chair or stool so it doesn’t show up in the pictures.
- Fifth, place your subjects, and have fun taking pictures! My girls loved pulling the silly faces!
Photo tip: for a more blurred background, pull the bench/stool further from the wall. To see the polka dots more in focus, place your subjects right up against the wall. You can see in the image above, the background is more blurred because they are further from the wall.
