We’re Kat & Melinda and we blog over at Home. Made. Interest.. We’re so excited to be here today sharing our all natural Red, White, and Blue popsicle recipe with you! I don’t know about you but in the summer we go through A LOT of popsicles at my house so last year I made the decision to stop buying them and start making them so I would know exactly what was in them.

It turns out making your own popsicles is super-easy and has endless possibilities. It’s also a great way to get the kiddos to eat something healthy without even knowing it. I had upcoming 4th of July celebrations on the brain when I made these popsicles, but they were so good I’ll be making them all summer long.

All you need for the recipe is vanilla yogurt, fresh raspberries, and fresh blueberries. You can also use the sweetener of your choice, honey, agave nectar, sugar, or nothing at all, whatever floats your boat. I put the raspberries in the blender and pureed them with 2 tablespoons of agave nectar (if you are using sugar, or nothing, you may want to add a little water to help the blander out), then I poured the puree into my popsicle molds. If you don’t have popsicle molds you can find them just about anywhere, Walmart, Target, the Dollar Store, I got mine at Home Goods. Once you have your raspberry layer in your molds you add the yogurt. For the blueberry layer mix the remainder of your yogurt with the blueberries and pour them into the molds. Then insert your sticks and put them in the freezer until they are frozen solid.

My kids love yogurt almost as much as they love popsicles so this combination was a huge hit with them. They couldn’t wait to finish their lunch so they could have their treat! I’m definitely going to add these to my list of desserts for our big 4th of July party.
