Today is all about having yet another reason to sneak candy out of the Halloween treat bowl or to snag a few pieces from the kids’ bags after the 31st.   These Reese’s Pieces Rice Krispie Treats are so easy and so delicious! Now, my blog Your Cup of Cake is usually the place to go for all things cupcakes, but I just love rice krispie treats, especially peanut butter ones! I love knowing that I’m only 5 minutes away from a whole pan of rice krispie treats and I never have to turn on the oven 🙂

Enjoy these wonderfully simple and peanut butter perfect treats!

Reese's Pieces Rice Krispie Treats
Author:
Recipe type: Dessert

Ingredients
  • 1 10-12 oz. bag mini marshmallows
  • ¾ cup peanut butter, creamy
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 6-7 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
  • 1 C. Reese's Pieces
Instructions
  1. Grease a 9 X 13 inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. Put marshmallows, peanut butter, butter and vanilla extract in a large microwave proof bowl (or in a pot on the stove). Microwave for 1 minutes and then in 30 seconds increments and stir until smooth. Add Rice Krispie cereal and gently fold. Some people like a more chewy treat so you can add as much or as little cereal as you want!
  3. Add Reese's Pieces and fold again.
  4. Dump into prepared pan and press flat. Let cool and then serve!
