My friend Heather is a GEM, and I’m delighted to share with you today how she seeks to create HAPPY in her family through simple living. She truly exudes happiness, and is passionate about helping others to see the happy in families, and life in general.

She is just a very positive person all around. You’ll hear the unique story of how we met, then we discussed her growing up as one of 6 children in suburban Chicago. She then had a successful career and rubbed shoulders with a few famous people, and left it all to raise her babies without looking back.

She shared several thought provoking quotes that would be perfect to hang in your home, she also told a funny story of how motherhood is messy and wonderful you may squeel with laughter as I did, and we discussed for quite a while the importance of teaching our children social media etiquette.

Wait til the end when she gives the most thoughtful reason why her families favorite meal is her favorite. It really shed some new light to me on family meal time.

  3. I am loving your podcasts and am always motivated when listening to them. My only piece of advice for you — please don’t cut off your speakers. I feel like they’re just starting to expand on their story or opinion and you cut them off, add your input or go on to another question before they were actually done talking. Pause. Let them have enough time to answer before responding. And sometimes less is more. Instead of trying to ask them 40 questions, ask 10 and let the speaker really dive into their answers. But pause before responding to make sure they have time to answer. Keep up the great work and thank you for trying to inspire other women!

  4. It’s a great experience and feeling. Live simple and keep yourself happy.
