Zebra & Pink Baby Shower

My friend Lexie is having her first girl after 3 boys, and I was so excited to help throw a baby shower for her.  Since she decked out her nursery in pink & zebra, we made a theme with her shower to reflect that.  Her friend Lindsey made the adorably cute garlands that were around the room, as well as the BIG sign and 25 pom pom balls.  That made an AWESOME touch!  My friend Juliet is a master chef and made the zebra cupcakes and white chocolate popcorn (and other yummies not pictured), while I gathered stuff for the tablescape.  Together, I think the 3 of us made a great team!

I got some zebra wrapping paper @ party city that was cut in a square for the table.  I had the frame below (hobby lobby) and made a little insert with the lady in zebra dress. Aren’t the cupcakes awesome?  Juliet used zebra scrapbook paper to wrap around the cupcakes.

Little take home favors made by our friend Amy.  Zebra wrapping paper, again.

Isn’t the garland fabulous around the room?  Felt circles sewn on a thread.

Love the toes above. Below, Lindsey, Lexie (with the corsage of honor Lindsey made) Juliet, and myself.

Here is the room in all its’ glory.

Lindsey made this adorable gift for Lexie.  I was “oohing and ahhing” over it and she told me she got the idea from Design Mom.  Go check it out!

LOVED Juliet’s cupcakes–I told her that in my opinion a cupcake without a yummy filling isn’t worth eating.  These did not disappoint.  The popcorn also has white chocolate drizzled on it.  You can’t tell at first, but oh my–YUM!
