Blueberry Yogurt Protein Bites

I am a Real Seal Ambassador this year.  What that means is that I’ll share some posts that include Real Seal Dairy products. It’s something I love anyway–delicious dairy! With this recipe, I used yogurt. We are yogurt obsesseed at my house. Actually, I think I am the one that has the most difficult time with yogurt as is, but I liked it in this frozen form with these protein bites.

Real Seal states: The naturally-occurring calcium in milk is more readily absorbed by our bodies than the calcium that has to be added to milk substitutes . In many of these imitation beverages, the calcium settles to the bottom and you would need the equivalent of a hardware store paint shaker to suspend the calcium.
Translation: DRINK REAL DAIRY, NOT SUPPLEMENTS!

What I did was mix just 4 ingredients:

  • plain Yogurt
  • raw honey
  • fresh blueberries
  • slivered almonds

It’s really as simple as mixing up the first two ingredients ’til blended, then folding in the last two. Actually, breaking up the fresh blueberries is encouraged.
