I’ve got a simple and healthy 4 ingredient snack today with these Apple Cinnamon Yogurt Bites. You simply mix up the ingredients, do a little blend, then freeze the mixture in ice cube trays.
I got such a great response to the Blueberry Yogurt Bites I shared over the summer, I thought it would be fun to share another simple snack idea in an apple flavor.
Plus, I’ve kind-of fallen off of the healthy eating bandwagon.
Tis the season to gain weight, and gain, I have. 5 pounds sounds so little, really, but it’s a 5 lb. bag of sugar…or flour…and that’s kinda BIG added onto my waist or rear end!! I’ve been so annoyed at myself that it’s crept up and STAYED there! In the past 2.5 years since my big weight loss, I haven’t let it get this high and stay this high. I’ve just enjoyed sitting in my PJ’s in front of my computer so much, that I took a little break from exercising in September. But last week, I exercised every day, and so far this week, I have too, so I’m on a roll! I’m trying to cleanse myself a bit before heading into the bulk of the holiday eating season. These yogurt bites are just the right thing to get me started, right? Must have self control.
Back to the recipe.
I simply blended everything in my Blendtec blender, poured into trays, then popped them out later. Here are the trays I used
I like to use the skin on the apples, because it’s supposedly good for you, right? I can’t remember why, but just trust me on this one. Plus, I like the red flecks in the yogurt bites, much prettier than a bland whitish color!
- 1 medium Jazz apple any kind is fine
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- Blend 4 ingredients in a blender until apple is chopped up. I leave the skin on , you don't have to. Once blended, pour into trays, freeze an hour or more. Pop and and put in a sealed bag or container in freezer.
- Makes about 45 frozen cubes.
The kids have fun putting them together, too. My girls LOVE to freeze the liquid into the molds!

What other flavors would be good to mix together???
