This Alice in Wonderland Party is a little bit of whimsical and a lot of color!
I was so excited when Piper’s mom asked me to come photograph her first birthday party, an Alice in Wonderland party theme! I love fun and whimsical parties, and joining with past clients (I photographed mom when she was expecting big sis’ maternity and newborn sessions a while back) makes it all the more fun! I had this vintage high chair sitting in my attic the past year–unfinished, and when I told Piper’s mom about it, she offered to paint it, and I LOVE how it turned out in the yellow! I also loved that the guests all dressed in the theme…enjoy a snippet into the friends and family filled party!
The party was filled with family, friends, and lots of fun. I loved how mom matched the party theme, too, that makes my heart happy.
This is actually my vintage high chair that they spray painted yellow. I hadn’t gotten around to paint it yet, so when they asked if I had one, I said to paint it any color they’d like, and they did yellow! It’s nice and smooth, and I still have it yellow hanging out in my home.
The party hats were fun for the kids to enjoy as well, such a fun touch!
