Welcome to the Black and White post, where I share ideas on What to Wear in Family Pictures with the colors BLACK AND WHITE! This is part of a greater series all about colors in family pictures, see the intro post on that link for more great ideas.
I’m not really a fan of all black or all white clothes. I’ve done sessions with that look, and “back in the day” we all thought that everyone in one color worked, and it does, but I like a little style to pictures now. But I LOVE the combo of Black & White together, and just the two colors works very well for pictures because you can work with so many different patterns and they blend well together. I found a great variety of family pictures with just that Black & White combo, enjoy!

Black & White with Tan I love how the black is up against the field of Wheat.
B & W Stripes This is my family pictures (see many more on the link) and I knew I wanted this orange rock in pictures when we traveled to Souther Utah. It was actually quite easy to plant these clothes, and none of it was purchased new. All of us had something in or closets that fit with the black and white theme. I now wish I would have thought about some black converse for my oldest son. Oh well!
Mostly Black Oh my goodness, the plaid boots? Argyle sweater? Zebra print and Herringbone pattern? So many fun patterns!
Black with a pop of yellow Love the great black and white patterns here.
