I am so excited to be here helping Kristen with her Decorating with Pictures series. Isn’t Kristen amazing!? I just love her & her blog. I have also loved following along with this series, & I love seeing everyone’s awesome ideas! 🙂 I can’t wait to share mine, too, but first let me introduce myself & my blog! My name is Ginger, & I’ve been blogging for almost 3 years over at GingerSnapCrafts.com It’s a place where I share my simple tutorials, DIY projects, recipes, organization ideas & more. I’m also a mom to 5 wild & crazy kiddos (ages 4 to 16) & a wife to one awesome guy! We have way too much fun together~ as you can see! ha! 😉
Recently I have been working on cleaning, organizing & updating my kitchen. I repainted the walls a much lighter color. Then I added a new organization wall, repainted a few things, added a rolling shelf to my pantry, put up a clipboard organization spot for my kiddos and now I am adding some fun colors to the boring neutral decor that I’ve had going on the last several years. I’m trying to turn over a new leaf! ha! 😉 So I’ve added a few pops of yellow & red throughout my kitchen. :)One of the first cleaning projects I tackled was the fridge. You know how nasty & cluttered those things can get! Ick! I have totally cleaned everything off, scrubbed it down inside & out, found some cute storage baskets to put on top for papers & supplies. Then I made these cute stenciled frames so we can display some of our favorite family pictures on the front of our fridge. I’d much rather look at pictures than clutter. 😉 You can pop over to my blog for the full tutorial on how I made these frames! The whole project cost under $10, too! Not too bad! 😉
Here are some more fun ideas with pictures from my blog!
You can always find me over on my blog, facebook, pinterest or instagram!
Thank you so much for having me over Kristen! 🙂
