I love the tradition of Christmas pajamas or Christmas jammies, we had them in my house growing up quite a bit, and I’ve carried it on in my family. Not only that, but taking silly pictures in them on Christmas Eve! We usually have a crazy Christmas Eve of running around shopping, but since this year it was on a Sunday, and church was early (and shortened) at 10:30am, we had a whole afternoon together, so we openened jammies int he afternoon, so we could take pictures in the natural light!
Since we opened our Christmas Pajamas early, we played games, read about Christmas symbols, and had a lazy afternoon, and while a few took naps, I snuck off to my computer to put together a fun little video of the bloopers of us taking pictures, I think it’s pretty funny! I’ve got a long version that is 15 minutes long, and the RAW video, but first the shortened 3.5 minute video set to music that is for those that can’t do the whole version. Both are pretty funny! I say watch the first one, and if you REALLY want to see more, go to the longer version.
Silly Christmas Jammies behind the scenes:
RAW full version (you should only watch this is you watched the above and you are left wanting MORE!):

Still pictures from the day:
We have a tradition the past few years of handstands, below is how we’ve always done it, but my son is so much older now, we thought we’d try all the girls doing a handstand, it was funny (see more in the video)
Then I tried to do a handstand, and lets just say…I struggle!
Do you get to hold your elves on Christmas Eve??? We do! J.J. and Mr. Jingles will surely be missed by Cali.
I loved our afternoon of lounging in our jammies together. We played a game, read about the symbols of Christmas, and laughed. True bliss, right there. Then some went to nap and I came to make the video!
Our tree all lit up with the presents underneath. I was so pleased with myself that I had most gifts by early December and the girls helped me wrap!
Merry Christmas!
