Last month, I introduced a fun little series, all about learning a word a week with your kids. It helps to build confidence and vocabulary, while having a little family fun along the way! I’ve got 5 new words for this month, split them up and display them as you’d like. February is a bit of a shorter month, but we DO have leap day this year!  I display one a week, we work on that, and then change it the next week.

  1. I really like the word a week series. Do you ask your kids to try to use the new word during a conversation at home or school? Uzi f words solidifies vocabulary building.so you play any word games at the dinner table to help them retain any past words they have memorized? As an avid reader of your blog, I wonder if you would share ways you help your kids use new words in their daily conversations and retain them over time .
